About Alarm Clock Planner

An iPhone alarm clock for real dates, made and supported by one developer.

Who makes it

Alarm Clock Planner is made by one person, Emils Ozols, an indie iOS developer. I design it, build it, test it and answer the support email myself. It is one of six small iPhone apps I make for life's little annoyances, listed on .

Why I built it

I noticed how many people look for a better alarm app, then built it around my own mess: my wake-ups, family events, my daughter's after-school activities, and a quick 15-minute nap. The built-in Clock app thinks in days of the week. My life runs on dates, so the app does too.

How it is built

The app is written in Swift for iPhone and uses AlarmKit, Apple's alarm system that arrived with iOS 26. That is why its alarms can ring through the Silent switch and Focus modes like the Clock app's own alarms. It needs iOS 26.2 or later.

It launched on the App Store on May 29, 2026. Every release since then, with its date and what changed, is on the What's New page. The app is translated into 19 languages.
